what will you do , new house , camp or what . With Texas weather if it was mine I might do a Yurt on a deck . Course , maybe you have a house in mind .

Junky trailers until I can put up a cabin, house in a few years, maybe.

Getting power run to it will bust my budget, may go with diesel generator for now.

good idea , I'd do the generator and with a camp that's all I'd ever need , he11 , I'd use lanterns and batteries and a propane refridge . Trailer is also fine for now or forever , depending on taste . Looks good to me . Are fish in the river ??

Minners only,water is too inconsistent around that area for fish of any size.

I have grown accustomed to A/C, nights are not too bad, I guess I could acclimate, like when I was a kid.

It can be a hot and cold sumbitch out that way.

What kind of wildlife do you get out there? It would be cool to set up a few cameras and some with nightvision.

off the grid , sounds good to me , might want check into some of the self built self cooling houses that off gridders in hot desert states build .

Wildlife includes about every critter know to inhabit the Rolling Plains - I do need some cameras up.
