Trump is a chump...but, I look forward to voting for him in the Republican primary. Him and Cruz are a dream ticket...for the Democrats.
But, none of this means anything. Until shortly before the Conventions this is all background noise. I told my wife that I thought I would ignore the Primaries altogether as the current BS was disturbing my digestion.
Yeah, maybe I should do that.

Listened to Karl Rove last night, the new deal to attack Trump is 5 years ago he donated to Hillary, 6 years ago he supported abortion, and. On and on. It first hit on Rush and then on Hannity, seems like a 1/2 a$$Ed organized call in and hope to get some traction. My gripe with Rove is we just need to vote for jeb and ALL will be fine, not in so many words.

Well that's interesting, you will cross party lines to vote in the Colorado presidential primary in order to hopefully nominate what you construe as a weaker opponent. Do you have to cross a state line as well?
Q3. Does Colorado hold a presidential Primary Election?
A3. No. In 2003, Colorado passed a measure to eliminate the presidential primary. The estimated savings generated by cancellation of the presidential primary is $2.2 million. Instead, Colorado uses a caucus process.
It's a joke son,I say a joke

Then I will have to see about the caucuses. We have not been here long enough to have gone through the election cycle...and we are a ways out from the actual voting. I was, while actually serious, just kibitzing.
I do appreciate the information. I don't doubt I would have figured it out but we are still adjusting to the registration process and different voting practices here.
Given the futility of Sanders bid the Democratic primary process is meaningless. So, I just want to actively support the WEAKEST Republican contender. That is a valid approach given the current dynamics. I don't know why I bother, given that the Republicans "base" is so good at it, but I want to see the Republicans nominate the LEAST electable candidate possible. Since they seem to want that too I see no conflict.
Have you notice that a large number of the announced have poll numbers that are smaller than the margin of error for the poll. With those size MOEs I suspect they are using a 99% confidence interval. So, their actual support could very easily be ZERO...and within the interval. This whole thing has a sort of European feel to it...except we have candidates instead of parties coming out our ears.
And again, thanks for setting me straight on how to support Trump here in Colorado. You have been very helpful. Anything else you think I should know about Colorado? Did you know that they will put your service right on your DL. That makes it easier to claim all those military/veteran/retiree discounts offered here. Did I mention I can see the wire and berms at Fort Carson from my patio? This is such a cool place to live.

Monmouth poll?
Did you just make that one up?

Whenever poll numbers are brought up I think back 2004. Howard Dean was a frontrunner going into Iowa. He finished third in the Iowa caucus, screamed, and the rest is history.
The only poll that matters to me is the one that happens on election day.

Karl Rove is the poster child for everything that is wrong with the Republican party and politics in general.

AGREE! I will not donate one red cent to the RNC. I will support and donate to a couple of candidates though. I won't have to worry since neither are supported by the RNC. I get these begging letters (phone calls but I don't answer them) and e-mails "We appreciate your support, BS<BS< and more BS." I haven't supported them in years. I don't know whether to throw up or laugh. It ain't going to happen!

Karl Rove is still waiting for Mitt Romney's final numbers to come in.
