Kudos to you folks that
That post from phones and tablets. That's some weird juju.
When Grouchy was the guest DJ he said he was using a Kindle and it was slow going.
So I thought I'd give it a whirl, carp I don't even look at the net on my phone or Kindle. First had to figure out how to get on the old interweb. Not only is it too small for me to see, the keyboard is hard for me to use, then you don't have the same functionality, how in the heck do you right click?
My hat is off to you android and I-phone users, you be way gooder than me.

I use my Android almost exclusively now.

I can read the posts OK, but trying to post from my iPhone is a beating.

My Kindle is for nothing but reading books. Well, I used to use it to check websites for resizing properly but not anymore. My phone will get me cussing faster than about anything. I'm one of those curmudgeons who wants a phone to do nothing but be a phone. Trying to use the stupid keypad is an exercise in frustration and fury. Love it when I'm in the car retrieving messages and the woman says "Press 7 to delete this call." Uh, there ain't no 7 anywhere in the car to press. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Working to love my fellow person regardless : >

I also use my kindle primarily for reading. Also use it for sitting on the porch, posting about 50% of the time here and FB. I can't do attachments from it and that was my problem Sunday evening.

All my posts are from mini Ipad or IPhone 6+.
Regular iPhone would be tough.

I use my pinkie finger to type on the phone, 'cause other fingers hit the wrong keys.

The blue tooth in my car is excellent. The salesman had me repeat certain sentences so it could reliably interpret my voice. It's a joy to use. My phone....not so much. Kindle stays on my night stand because I can't sleep unless I read. I will take it to the doctor's office or anywhere I think I'll be delayed. It's just so easy to slip in my purse. Now if I could only remember to put it back on my nightstand. It would be cheaper to use the kindle on my trips to the coast. A book makes the trip seem a lot faster, but I still like books on CD better.

I never post to this site from my phone anymore and my laptop is not working. So I'm never here on the weekends. That ought to change soon when work gets too busy.

Love my Kindle. No more trying to figure out what to do with books once I've read them.
My purse isn't big enough to hold it but I too take it to appointments. Too many who don't stick to their schedules including our dermatologist.

I strongly recommend to everyone..when it's time for a new phone..go with the IPhone 6+..you'll wonder why you've been struggling with such a small screen for so long.

Too expensive and too big for me to use.

It's half the size of your kindle.

Re: Kudos to you folks that
Oh yes, but I can't make phone calls on my Kindle.
Heck, I can hardly make phone calls on my phone either.
I like having a book sized book. I think if I used something like an IPhone for reading I'd be "turning pages" too often. And there is that outrageous cost issue. My current phone cost less than $50 and I didn't have to sign up for a plan to get that price. Just bought an older version phone from Amazon.
I imagine you use your phone quite a bit, don't you? It might be worth the cost if I used mine more often.

Yes, I do..but I also have a mini Ipad..about the size of your kindle. I'm on that right now.
Ipad is great..no cellular plan needed. If I have no wifi..I don't use it.
But it's wonderful to have something so usable and almost as easy on the eyes as the IPad, everywhere I go..and occasionally, I actually TALK on my IPhone!
Less and less, though.
