For you that don't live here Ed has had a 4 hr radio show about automotive on Saturday mornings in Dallas for many years.
Note from Ed: Many have been wondering why the last half of the show on Saturday was a rerun. Something we have never done in 22 years. Additionally, I have not updated insideautomotive today.
As I went on air Saturday I developed a tear in my retina. I had to leave to have surgery to repair it. Then yesterday a second tear occurred in the same eye and this morning another surgery to repair that damage. Hopefully we are now on the road to recovery. Because my vision is not yet back to full functionality, I will not be at Fox Four on Friday, but we will be there Saturday for the radio show.

Is this the Wheels guy?
Re: Inside Automotive Info
.
He claims to have crawled out of a hospital bed following a heart attack just to be there for the Saturday show. Allegedly he's had three of them.

Leaving the hospital after a heart attack is not a major shocker to me. My cousin had several of them and never knew it. They weren't diagnosed until years later when he went to the hospital for a totally different problem. I've had several friends who had heart attacks and had stents and were back at work doing fine in one or two days.
