I try hard to sleep later, but if I wake up anytime after 4:30 am, I get up since my body says "You've sleep enough." But I usually read till about midnight, so I'd like to sleep later. 6:30 is perfect for me.

I called the number and actually got voice mail. Shock! I did not hesitate to tell them exactly what I thought of being called at 4 a.m. and told them to take my #s off any call lists they are keeping.

If you still have a land line, turn the ringer off at night, if its a cell phone, especially a iphone, flip the switch on the left side to silence anything incoming.

For years I woke up at 5am as I was the owner of my own company and always thought I should be there when everyone else arrived. Now that I am retired, due to a triple by-pass, I shut off the phone at bedtime, sometimes I stay up till 11:30 at night. But sometimes I also sleep till 8am. I love it when that happens. AND, recently I discovered I can now take a day time nap. Something I didnt do my entire adult life. I guess its good to be old(er).

Turning off the ringer is a good idea but we have 5 phones in the house. Hard to remember them all. I keep the ringer turned off of the one in my bedroom. But heard the 4 a.m. ringing from my office, despite my white noise machine. Guess I need to crank up the volume on my machine and crank down the volume on my office phone.

I can't imagine what it is like to sleep late. My brain and my doggies won't let me sleep past 6 but it's usually more like 5:30.

Naps are wonderful!

Yes, I loaded Karen and the boys up @ 10 and we went to the fitness center. Worked my area off and got a good burn in all the muscle groups.

When we got home I threw a shoulder clod on the smoker, took a long shower and sat down in the recliner. It is going to be a great evening.

Oh, looked it up - also called chuck. That's the only term I've ever heard for it.
