So last night

We drove up to Winstar for a little R&R.

I couldn't hit a hand with a baseball bat, Donna however was staying just above even on her favorite one armed bandit.

Took a break to go grab some El Fenix, and back to the gaming floor. My luck changed a bit and was able to not lose so much. Donna was back at old trusty and still just barely ahead.

Around 9:30 it was time to cash out and make the return trip. So I'm standing there all sad, while Donna cashes out, because I'm a loser.

I notice they have one of those new games that makes noise and shakes the chair if you win.

Twilight Zone it is called.

I suggest that she drop another 20 just to see how the game works, she approaches one and inserts said bill, the machine refuses to comply so she moves over one seat. This machine swallows the currency, Donna touches max bet and away we go.

She lands on a bonus called enter the Twilight Zone, bells ring lights flash and the machine does it's thing. Now it's a penny machine and max bet is way more than a penny, I think is like 3 bucks for max. Well any way it wheezes and whistles rings and dings for a very long time and pays out 8 dollars, Woo Hoo double the money + a buck.

She taps spin again and hits some small win, well this is fun.

Being up by a bit and me being buoyed by a few adult beverages I urge her to keep spinning.

Donna carefully pushes the spin button and TA DA another bonus for like $9 dollars.

And then it happened, the machine went into some kind of time warp and began to have a convulsion, it spun, rang bells, sent little swimming space men across the screen, popped up symbols and played the theme from the show, and kept doing it. I thought she broke it.

Dang thing started paying out, it takes a really long time to ring up $420.00 dollars in pennies.

End of saga, we left.
