Tell me again how to do it......
I thought putting the youtube url within the brackets would do it (leaving the s out).
That didn't work.

Doesn't seem to be working today. At least I couldn't make it work.

Re: Embedding a video
So, I type the brackets and youtube in and then the address?....is that supposed to be an option somewhere (to get the words youtube) and I can't see it?

Yes you have to type youtube inside the brackets. There is no option for embedding video in the current software.
Some smart guy or gal wrote a small script to allow the {youtube]xxx[/youtube] to be recognized by the board software.

Nope, still won't work for me.
Re: Embedding a video
If you search the phpBB community forum, there is an elaborate HTML code that will make it work, but it's easier to just post the link.

OK, take out the garbage in the URL between the question mark and the "v" and it works.

Re: Embedding a video
Here's a thought... Maybe YouTube cuts you off if you fail to embed a video after trying several times. Mistakes you for a commercial hacker.
