Oh my goodness, dances at the Austin Athletic Club. Lights low, "boyfriend" (he was my dance boyfriend and I wore his jacket for about a day. We never talked to each other. I so clearly remember my best friend, who had just bought the Beatles first album, and I listening to the music and looking at the album cover while working to figure out which Beatle was which. Ah, sweet memories..............and Paul was oh so lovely to look at.

I am not a fan of the clarinet usually but this was a lovely song and great use of the instrument by a very talented guy.

I've watched Summer Place several times over the years. Yeah, a little schmaltzy but it was all in all a good movie.
