Re: Question of the day -
Having 8 and 10 year old girls, I must answer that question at least 10 times a day, usually with "Because I said". Get tired of explaining myself every time I ask them to do something.

Re: Question of the day -
Why am I not a cat person?
Cat sitting on back of chair. I pause to pet her. When I start to move away she claws me drawing blood. I've never had a dog do that but this stupid cat does it with fair regularity. I slap her when I can catch her but she has learned to draw blood then run. Damn cats!

Not sure why some cats do that? I've never had one that I owned do that to me. But one that I had would do it to others. She was declawed so no blood involved. One day she turned on my husband, never sure why and she was never nice to him after that.

Sue, I like Korean food but don't do Kimchi....nasty fermented cabbage crap. Onions are the least of your worries with kimchi.

I got interested when I read a book about Japanese living in Hawaii. Have seen a bunch of recipes that looked pretty good. BUT I'd never eat it without knowing all ingredients.................kinda like casseroles at church potlucks. Look it over and give it a good sniff and check the ingredients before consuming.

I don't have to know everything that is in a food before eating it. But I just don't care for fermented cabbage whether it be kimchi or saerkraut. Yuck.
