Dish washer install help needed.

Postby Grassman » Wed Jun 25, 2014 3:40 pm

Got it installed, hooked drain line up, hooked up electricity, turns on, but water does not circulate. The question I have is we are on well water, is this a water pressure issue? Gets water in the bottom of washer, just doesn't spin the spinners. I'm stumped, any thoughts?

Sounds like a malfunction of the dishwasher.
Does the manual have any info on this type of problem.
Once it fills with water, IMO, the problem is no longer your water source, but a problem of the dishwasher mechanism.

Kinda what I'm thinking LL, it's installed correctly, it's getting water, it's just not circulating.

This may sound crazy , However, I have seen " stays" in the circulation arms that need to be taken off. These are made for shipping purposes.

Also, Some machines "scene" If there is anything in the dishwasher, dishes, ect, as an energy saving devise. Not just water.

Problem solved, and I can't believe it. The main pump's power wire was not connected, I'm assuming an oversight from the factory. It was running just not pumping water, while I was feeling around the pump and bammo, once I snapped the wire in, it turned on. It's a good thing because I was about to go ballistic, I knew I had it hooked up properly.
