I was home from school that day, don't remember why, and my Dad came home early from work.
He was still doing his reserve duty in the Texas National Guard, and I remember him going thru his duffle bags making certain all of his gear was ready.
That weekend was spent in front of the TV with family; quite a sad and strange weekend.

Ooookaaay? Only one "d". But yes, there is wind sometimes, & a lot of wheat. And alfalfa, milo, soybeans, & even some cotton.
