America's moral decay----soccer!! (who knew?)

Ann Coulter thinks that America’s enthusiastic response to the 2014 World Cup is a “sign of the nation’s moral decay”.
In fact, so enraged is she by the country’s backing of their national football team, that the controversial US pundit decided to dedicate an entire column to the sport she wishes her fellow citizens would ignore.

“Any growing interest in soccer can only be a sign of the nation’s moral decay,” she wrote for The Clarion-Ledger.

Her reason for their sudden interest in the game? Immigration, apparently.

She has a point.

Although I also heard her say there is no talent involved in soccer..that's silly.

But she's right on about..soccer in America is about parents encouraging their kids to play it because they think they won't get hurt..and also that little girls can play with little boys and keep up.

..that does show a certain amount of societal "decay"..but I wouldn't call it "moral" decay.
