It's garden time.

Postby Grassman » Fri Jun 27, 2014 7:42 pm

Well my first garden ever is a success, even it it dies tomorrow. We have been picking at least 10 or 15 tomatoes a day,big boys, have made quite a haul the past couple weeks. We had tons of squash, they are fading out, but peppers are coming on strong now. Might have to make salsa with all the excess mators, good timing with peppers coming.

Squash and peppers are doing great, tomatoes not so much, cucumbers teeny tiny.

We didn't get to plant cucumbers this year. Our tomatoes are exploding.

What's up with cucumbers this year? Husband didn't get ours in the ground either. I'm hoping he will plant them next week for a fall harvest.

We just have a few tomatoes left.
