DMN:
Texas A&M isn’t making any friends over it’s protection of the “12th Man” trademark.
The week began with news of A&M warning Buffalo Bills fans that a website using the trademark must be taken down or legal action would follow. The site, 12thManThunder.com, was created to petition for the Bills to remain in Buffalo.
As news spread about A&M’s protection of it’s trademark, we learned that one of the site’s four founders, Charles “Chuckie” Sonntag, is an amputee with very little funding to fight back or accept any legal action.
Sonntag claims that he worked diligently to change the site’s name and to take down banners promoting the site but A&M insisted the pace was not quick enough.
Now the outrage has begun. Aggie fans believe their school is protecting what it owns, while others argue that A&M is being a bully in this case.
A support of the latter backing is ESPN’s Keith Olbermann who went as far Wednesday to call A&M and it’s interim president, Dr. Mark A. Hussey, “The World’s Worst Person in Sports” on his nightly show.
In the video Olbermann slams A&M saying that the entire school, including it’s fans and students, “don’t care” about attacking a man who is a double amputee with little money despite it’s large revenue each season through donations and athletics.
Therefore, Olbermann says, he doesn’t care either.
“Until you fix this, screw you,” Olbermann said.

Re: Keith Olbermann: Village Idiot
Olberman might be the biggest A-hole in media, and no coincidence he's a far left looney.
Re: Keith Olbermann: Village Idiot
A&M doesn't seem to mind Seattle using the 12th man slogan as long as the Seahawks keep the checks to A&M coming.
Re: Keith Olbermann: Village Idiot
Nothing wrong there. A legal agreement by the Aggies to be compensated for a unique tradition that Seattle stole.

Anyone that watches that idiot needs their head examined, IMO.

He was off of Sunday Night Football for awhile but has been back on. He was thrown off for one of his "remarks."
I leave the room when he comes on. I love Sunday Night Football with Al and Kris, but KO is an ____hole!
No telling what he will say if "they" turn him loose on the Redskins debacle.
