Teachers that care can make a big difference in students lives.

How is your sister doing, Librarylady? I just can't imagine how terrible this is for the family. Still praying for the family.

Re: More prayer for BIL
Right now, she is just getting through each day.
One son is staying with her this week. I'm sure they are doing legal things and sorting personal things.
I'm going up there on Wed. and address the envelopes for her thank you notes as a way to help.
I hope she does not fall into deep depression--that is what one sister did after her husband died.
4 of 8 siblings have now lost their spouse. Nancy and Dennis were the youngest in our group of siblings.
Makes a person aware of their own mortality.

Re: More prayer for BIL
If she can even write thank you notes, that's amazing to me. I would be overwhelmed. But perhaps it could be theraputic for some people. (thinking about how many people cared) I hope if I'm ever in that position, my daughters would do that for me. Since my hands were numb due to the broken neck, and now arthritis, it would be very hard for me. I won't even text. I've had my cell disabled for texts
Still saying prayers.
