I'm reading these comments, and with the exception of Ann's, I'm wondering what kind of unnatural attraction Trump has to white, middle-aged, men. I can only think that Trump must be the new "middle-aged-crazy-sports-car". The concept is nothing new, its just manifested itself by different means. Next thing you know they'll all be having hair transplants and penile implants. I suppose they feel threatened by progressive politics and ideas that may not walk lock-step with their 19th century agenda, and at the same time feel somewhat vindicated that, because enough people hated Trump less than hated Clinton he won the election. That's not a victory, that's a default.
More than half the country did NOT vote for this guy. Yet, people (Trump and his brown-nosers) say it was a landslide. Cognitive dissonance at its base form.

No..it's because liberalism is a mental disorder..and we just put it in remission.

remission for 4 to 8 years and maybe more . I can even see Ivanka Trump being readied for the first lady V.P. or President of the USA someday . And with the TRUMP there will probably be no big Presidential anti gun crusades . We Trump supporters may get a rebuilt USA military , maybe a border wall , maybe less muslims , maybe a good conservative supreme court , maybe no obamacare . And another big plus is that we Trump supporters get to laugh at a whole heck of a lot of pizzed off liberals , democrats , lefties and plain old enemies of the USA !! :D

A: Is it? Why do you think that?

Because everything liberalism seeks to do goes against human nature..all cultures are equal..women are no different from men..government knows better than individuals..on and on.

B: Did you? Why do you think that?[

BecauseDemocrats have been rebuked nationwide..President..Congress..Governors..State Legistaures.

If this keeps on..the Democrat party will not exist in a decade.

I'm going to support Ann's original comment, because I'm old and was infatuated with the space program. John Glenn is a hero. I'm not going to get wrapped around the axle about televising his funeral. But John Glenn is a hero to me.

It's a shame that we have become so polarized in our politics that we dismiss people like John Glenn because he committed the crime of being a Democrat.

Ann's original comment..and her subsequent comments..were all based on her bizarre and obsessive contempt for Trump.

Bizarre because our resident liberals and Democrats here have never shown such bitterness towards him.

She can't handle that Conservatives rank Trump and all that he is doing..very high.

..and they'd rather listen to a live Trump than watch a dead John Glenn.

When Trump straps himself to a rocket that has never been tested with human, I'll consider holding him in the same regard.

My opinion.

Men were fighting each other to be that guy.

He was privileged to be that first guy to orbit the earth.

You can call that a hero if you want.

Trump will hopefully rescue a dying country and culture.

That..if it works..will be my definition of a hero.

"Hooray! Those things will really make America great again", he says while shaking his head and stifling a laugh.

By the way, I'm not pissed off. (That's how its spelled by the way, not "pizzed"). I'm amazed that my country has enough naive and gullible people to actually get this guy elected.

"naive and gullible"? I'd say more like realistic and cynical. Most of this country has gone down the crapper for the last 8 years and the're sick and tired of being lied to by their govt.
To whit:
The 8 years of "recovery" generally correspond to the time that the Peaceprize Man has been in office.
Now, we have 45 million people who cannot feed themselves without food stamps. That's 1 out of every 7 Americans.
Real median wages are 5% below what they were in the fall of 2007.
There are almost 1.4 million fewer fulltime jobs than there were in Jan 2001 when Bill and Hill were beating it out the door after the impeachment.
At the same time, we have lived through 93 straight months of ZIRP when savers were paid virtually nothing on their hard earned savings which was lent out by banks who pocketed all of the interest.
The FED has bought 3.5 trillion in govt. bonds, to keep the giant Federal Procurment machine running at top speed. That's 4 times as much as they bought in the previous 94 years of the FED's history.
US Production of consumer goods is still 9% lower than it was in 1999!

Flyover America is pizzed and Trump is their revenge.

But somehow you knew that in itself didn't make Trump a hero.

Yeah, it takes time to recover from two huge stock market crashes.
