Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Jose Antonio Vargas, an undocumented immigrant, was detained today at a Texas airport, his spokesman said.
Vargas was held at a detention center at the McAllen airport after he tried to fly out of the city on the U.S.-Mexico border, spokesman Ryan Eller said. Information on why he was detained wasn't immediately available.
Vargas wrote and directed "Documented," a film about the U.S. immigration debate and his life story that CNN aired on June 29.

He has a passport from the Phillipines. Wouldn't it be better if we dangled him in the Pacific?
No sympathy whatsoever for this idiot, send him back to the Phillipines. How was he able to work for the Washington Post if he was an undocumented alien?
