Not necessarily the best, but MY favorites,four past and one present
1. Steak & Ale (easily my first choice)
2.Youngbloods Fried Chicken ( just east of the Inwood Theatre onLovers Lane)
3 Daddys Money (Greenville ave just nort of ParkLane)
4 Old Warsaw ( Since the 1940's, a Dallas Showcase)
5. Safari,(Preston Royal Shopping Center-mans cut tenderloin for $5.95)
* If my memory were better I know I could name more.

OMG....I forgot KIPS BIG BOY. It was one of my very favorite places to go as kid.
