Israel tried to blackmail Bill Clinton with Lewinsky tapes.

Here's an article that maintains that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tried to blackmail Clinton into releasing Israel spy Jonathon Pollard.
Israel, Russia and the UK all had intercepted the Clinton - Lewinsky phone-sex conversations.
Clinton lobbied for Pollard's release, but the National Security team offered too much resistance.
