Someone at the NFL is growing a brain

Postby Sangersteve » Mon Oct 23, 2017 6:06 pm

Falling ticket sales, NFL branded souvenirs, and low television ratings, may have caught someones attention.

They steered clear of a controversial star for the upcoming "Big game".

I guess they saw light at the end of the tunnel by choosing Justin Timberlake as the headliner.

No cop haters etc.

Justin was involved in wardrobegate, but as an observer, he didn't cause the problem.

Of course they could have just as easily picked most any country star. On the other hand they wouldn't want a band that shows patriotism on center field.
It's a joke son,I say a joke

When the networks renegotiate their contracts with the NFL and there is less money for the players, they will have no one to blame but themselves.

Of course, they will blame everyone BUT themselves.

NFL lost approximately 8 percent of TV viewers last year, 2016.

That decline ain't due to Colin taking a knee during the National Anthem.
It's ok if you disagree with me.
I can't force you to be right.

Average cost for a family of 4 to attend an NFL game is around $500.

There's your attendance problem.

Attendance is down across the board for sports. NFL, MLB, NBA, even NASCAR.

To what do you attribute those declines?

You can say that, but the fact is that he started this nonsense at the beginning of last season.
