I wonder how when a sniper kills someone from 800 yards away in a war zone the kill is "confirmed".

By the Spotter or the Team that goes into the area where the Kill occurred.

The alleged incident at the Gas Station should be easy to verify, the NOLA Katrina story would be more difficult as there we quite a few bodies laying around with gunshot wounds.

It would be wise for Jessie to bypass the west coast SEAL reunion in two weeks.

The Spec War community is not happy about this whole event. Jessie best watch his back for awhile. :o

Why would Ventura go to a Seal reunion when he never was a Seal?

He was actually a UDT member when he served, but they later came under the umbrella of the Teams. He has in the past, called himself a SEAL. That was a cause of a lot of the butthurt over his statement of "they deserved to lose a few" comment. Allegedly.

The lawsuit was not for being punched out by the sniper..it was about the sniper SAYING he punched out Ventura..and Ventura's feelings being hurt.

I still say..the answer is..punch out Ventura..regularly.

Is that something you are willing to do for the benefit of our society?

It's actually SEAL, not Seal. An acronym. The reunion is the UDT-SEAL reunion sponsored by the UDT-SEAL Association.

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- A federal judge has ruled a $1.8 million defamation damage award to former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura is reasonable.

A federal jury last month sided with the former pro wrestler and movie actor in his two-year fight to prove he was defamed by a military sniper and best-selling author who claimed to have punched out Ventura at a bar for bad-mouthing the Navy SEALs.

The jury found "American Sniper" author Chris Kyle's claim was false and defamatory. Jurors awarded $500,000 for damages and advised $1.3 million for "unjust enrichment," or how much money Kyle improperly made from the claim.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports Judge Richard Kyle, who is unrelated to the deceased author, upheld the jury's enrichment figure Thursday, saying it's "reasonable and supported by a preponderance of the evidence."

I read what Kyle wrote and he did not accuse Ventura of treason.
If I was Kyle's wife I would go after Ventura for defaming her late husband.
