The site describes as "false" Cruz's claim that 95% of Central American aliens say they are crossing the border because Obama is promising "amnesty". It says this percentage said instead that they are coming because they will get a "permiso".

In other words, there is no such thing as "amnesty" unless that word is used. Even the Spanish language network Univision has televised interviews with people riding the famous "Beast" train who state that they are coming because of the (correct) perception that almost any Central American who can sneak into the country will be allowed to remain. Contrary to the impression created by TV news, most of those being processed and released are family units, rather than unaccompanied young children. As one woman on the train who was traveling with her children said, "We heard that the country is opening its doors to families like mine."
