The “Moral Majority” scare of late 80s sunk Jimmy Carter.
Not saying he was a great POTUS, but he was probably the best overall man who has been President in the past 60 years.

Carter was definitely not the best for me.

I suffered the Stagflation, fuel shortages, and malaise as someone just starting out.

And now we have recently had skyrocketing inflation and sky high food and fuel prices not to mention worldwide COVID killing millions. Like that better? :D
